TONK and Getmobit have combined technological expertise to enhance the advantages of workspace virtualization

The Russian thin client manufacturer TONK and the developer of the Getmobit digital workspace management platform have combined their technologies to provide companies choosing VDI for work with more capabilities.

The joint solution combines the reliability of TONK hardware platforms with the flexibility of Getmobit Smart System centralized management. Now, TN 1200, TN 1700, and TN 1900 devices come equipped with an optimized version of GMSS NG Client, delivering high performance and a user-friendly interface for working in VDI and cloud environments.

This partnership creates a unified software and hardware stack that is secure, manageable, and cost-efficient; compatible with leading Russian and foreign VDI platforms including Citrix, VMware / Omnissa, Microsoft, Termidesk, Basis, Space; and ready to scale for large corporations, government agencies, and medium-sized businesses.

The next steps include expanding cloud scenarios, developing the partner network, and scaling deliveries through a "single window" format. Partners have access to programs from both companies, technical support, and implementation service support.

More details about the joint solution are available on the partnership page.
